Abstract
  • Self-regulated learning is a crucial component of students' competitiveness and is strongly linked to their academic achievement and performance. The study, which involved polling 309 Chinese university students, revealed that their level of self-regulated learning fell within the average range. Specifically, the analysis of the average scores for several self-regulated learning components revealed that participants exhibited the greatest requirement for social and environmental resources. In contrast, their motivation to learn scored the lowest. To enhance student support and guidance, the teacher's perspective offers educational recommendations to improve students' self-regulated learning skills and foster their overall development in the learning journey.
