Perlaksanaan kaedah bermain bagi memperkembangkan sosio emosi dalam kalangan pelajar pra sekolah

Abstract
  • Bermain merupakan aktiviti yang amat sinonim dengan kanak-kanak yang dapat dijadikan alat kepada pembelajaran yang menyeronokan. Ianya dipercayai dapat menjadikan murid lebih berdaya saing dan bersahsiah tinggi. Selari dengan kepentingan akademik, keutamaan mengenai aspek perkembangan sosio emosi kanak-kanak pra sekolah sewajarnya dititik beratkan dalam menjadi asas kemenjadian murid. Apatah lagi perkembangan ini berlaku secara pesat dalam usia mereka 0-6 tahun. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kesan kaedah bermain terhadap sosio emosi murid pra sekolah. Reka bentuk kajian ini berbentuk kajian eksperimen dengan menggunakan Skala Pembangunan Sosial dan Emosi Kanak-kanak Prasekolah bagi pengumpulan data. Seramai 80 daripada 200 orang murid daripada 5 buah tadika di pilih dan dibahagikan kepada kumpulan kawalan dan kumpulan rawatan. Dapatan kajian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian SPSS bagi mengukur keberkesanan kaedah bermain. Perubahan terhadap rangsangan bermain kepada sosio emosi murid dilihat amat positif dan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan diantara kumpulan eksperimen dan kumpulan rawatan. Konklusinya, aktivit pembelajaran yang berteraskan bermain ini dilihat dapat membantu terhadap perkembangan sosial emosi murid. Seterusnya revolusi pendidikan khususnya di Malaysia sewajarnya dapat mengetengahkan pendidikan bermain secara mendalam, menitik beratkan kurikulum yang lebih efektif dan melatih para guru.
