Abstract
  • Persepsi ibu bapa mengenai pelaksanaan Sistem Komunikasi Pertukaran Gambar (SKPG) amat penting dalam mempengaruhi keberkesanan meningkatkan kemahiran pertuturan kanak-kanak. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap pengetahuan ibu bapa, tahap jangkaan ibu bapa serta hubungan antara kedua-dua pembolehubah ini dalam melaksanakan SKPG. Kajian berbentuk tinjauan telah dijalankan terhadap 174 orang ibu bapa yang mengamalkan SKPG dengan anak mereka di negeri Perak. Responden kajian dipilih melalui teknik persampelan bertujuan diikuti dengan persampelan bola salji. Pengumpulan data dijalankan dengan menggunakan borang soal selidik berskala likert di Google Form. Analisis deskriptif telah dijalankan dengan merangkumi kekerapan, peratusan, min dan sisihan piawai. Hasil kajian telah menunjukkan tahap pengetahuan ibu bapa (min = 4.47, SP = 0.712) dan tahap jangkaan ibu bapa (min = 4.24, SP = 0.92) berada pada tahap yang tinggi. Analisis data menggunakan ujian korelasi Pearson menunjukkan terdapat hubungan linear positif yang sederhana kuat antara tahap pengetahuan ibu bapa dengan tahap jangkaan ibu bapa terhadap pelaksanaan SKPG [r (172) = 0.49, p <0.05]. Ini menunjukkan bahawa semakin tinggi tahap pengetahuan ibu bapa terhadap SKPG, semakin tinggi tahap jangkaan ibu bapa terhadap SKPG. Dapatan ini dapat mengukuhkan kerjasama antara pihak berkepentingan serta meningkatkan penglibatan ibu bapa dalam pendidikan anak berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang dikemukakan.
