Abstract
  • There is a significant level of risk involved in the construction sector, which encompasses a broad variety of operations that include building, modification, or repair. The objective of this study is to identify the common injuries based on workers' perceptions and how to mitigate these risks. Replace with this sentence: This study collected data from respondents using a quantitative approach survey by questionnaire, which is focused on the construction site in Perak Tengah. To thoroughly evaluate the variables, descriptive statistics, and graphical analysis were used. Studies on safety and physical dangers at building sites highlight the need, to adopt a comprehensive strategy to enhance safety. The common injuries found in this study are noise-induced, hearing loss, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke. To eliminate these injuries 3 main methods suggested by workers in that area are the promotion of a strong safety culture among workers, ensuring workers are adequately rested and not fatigued, and regular monitoring of construction activities. This encompasses the promotion of a favourable safety culture, efficient risk mitigation, active worker participation, and the consideration of both tangible and intangible elements. Finding in by comprehending and tackling these factors, organizations may establish safer work conditions and diminish the occurrence of injuries and deaths in the construction business.
