Abstract
  • AR in teaching digital media art can provide many benefits to students, including enhanced learning experiences, increased creativity, and improved understanding. It can also be a cost-effective and accessible way to introduce students to digital media art. Teaching digital media art can be challenging but also highly rewarding for both students and teachers. It requires a commitment to staying up to date with the latest technologies and techniques, as well as a willingness to experiment and explore new approaches to teaching and learning. Teaching digital media art using AR can offer many benefits, but it is important for educators to carefully consider the feasibility of using AR. This paper aims to explore the feasibility of teaching digital media art based on AR technology. Therefore, this paper adopts the literature research method to outline the concepts and connections between AR technology, digital media art teaching, and usability principles while reviewing the application of AR technology in digital media art teaching, analysing its application status and advantages, and analysing and evaluating the feasibility of applying AR technology in digital media art teaching with practical cases. The research results show that digital media art teaching based on AR technology has broad application prospects and feasibility and can enhance the effectiveness of digital media art teaching.
