Abstract
  • Incorporating technology is important in many sectors to improve performance and improve patient satisfaction. The incorporation of technology in the health sector has several benefits relating to diagnosing patients, reducing waiting time, and patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction is a crucial result of quality care and a performance metric for health care delivery. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the relationship between the incorporation of technology and patient satisfaction in health care. This quantitative study is based on positivist philosophy and a deductive approach. This study collected data with the help of a self-administered questionnaire and a survey strategy. Convenience sampling was used to collect data from the target population who were health care patients in Pakistan. This study applied Smart PLS for data analysis. This study found that incorporating technology has a significant impact on patient satisfaction. At the same time, technology readiness moderated the relationship between incorporating technology and patient satisfaction. Furthermore, this study concluded that incorporating technology in the healthcare centre makes the patients more satisfied. The results of this study will provide a better understanding to health administrators.
