Abstract
  • This study investigates the impact of fintech adoption, digital innovation, and cybersecurity investments on firm performance in China's financial sector, with a particular focus on the moderating role of digital infrastructure. In an era where digital transformation is pivotal, the financial sector in China provides a rich context for examining how these technological advancements contribute to firm performance. The study argues that fintech adoption enables firms to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience, while digital innovation drives product and service differentiation, fostering competitive advantages. Additionally, cybersecurity investments are crucial for protecting digital assets, building customer trust, and ensuring regulatory compliance, which collectively bolster firm performance. The role of digital infrastructure as a moderating variable is critical, as robust digital infrastructure amplifies the benefits of fintech and innovation by providing the necessary support and scalability for these technologies. This research contributes to the literature by offering insights into how digital strategies are intertwined with infrastructural capabilities to drive firm performance in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.
