Impact of content-based CSR program toward students performance in terms of skills and knowledge (LSA) and personal quality

Abstract
  • Trends of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from the higher institution as an organization to the community is well developed and implemented. Although there is a great deal of research done on CSR, there is no yet research done on the impact of content-based CSR programs on students’ performance. The purpose of the research is to explore the impact of content-based CSR program implementation on students' performance in terms of Skills and Knowledge (LSA) and Personal Quality in Polytechnic. The unit of analysis in this research focused on electrical engineering department students who attend the CSR program organized by the department. This research employed secondary data and surveys, whereby the questionnaires were distributed to the respondent just after the CSR program. This research focuses primarily on descriptive statistics were used to explain the level of perceptions and reactions. The results reveal that the impact or achievement implementation content-based CSR program in terms of the level of acquisition LSA and personal quality was an increase. In conclusion, the content-based CSR program can use as a tool to obtain the Polytechnic Programme Educational Objective.
