Abstract
  • Climate change is a pressing global issue that requires urgent attention and action, particularly in countries like Malaysia that are heavily impacted by its effects. This research explores the potential of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool to manage and mitigate the impacts of climate change in Malaysia. AI can assist in analyzing large amounts of data to model and predict climate patterns, identify areas at risk, and develop effective strategies for adaptation and resilience. However, the implementation of AI in climate change management in Malaysia faces several challenges, including limited expertise, data availability, and infrastructure. To address these challenges and ensure the sustainability of AI solutions, a unified policy framework is needed that brings together government agencies, research institutions, and private sector stakeholders to collaborate on AI initiatives for climate change. By establishing a unified policy framework, Malaysia can harness the potential of AI to drive innovative solutions for climate change management, enhance decision-making processes, and build a sustainable future for its citizens. This research highlights the importance of a coordinated approach to AI implementation in climate change management and calls for stakeholders to work together towards a common goal of creating a more resilient and sustainable future for Malaysia.
