Exploring the innovative thinking and development trend in digital media art and design education

Abstract
  • Nowadays, contemporary art has gradually tended to diversify in terms of its forms of expression. Digital media art, as the most important expression of contemporary influence on art and design education, has gradually led to a new artistic discourse in art and design education. Based on this, the development of art and design education in colleges and universities is also facing a phase of adjustment in line with it. In the development of art and design education, the educators of art colleges should use a step-by-step approach to guide students towards an independent creative path - experiential teaching. Therefore, in this paper, we discuss the conceptualization and standardization of art and design education performance, analyze the diversity of the instructor-student relationship and student-teacher relationship, and student questioning, and explore a new innovative teaching model with a net-like character and democratic nature. This thesis firstly elaborates on the existing problems in Chinese art and design education; secondly, it explores the advantages of applying experiential teaching in art and design courses, and embodies them in three aspects: firstly, enhancing emotional communication and communication ability between teachers and students, and realizing common growth of teachers and students; secondly, stimulating learning interest and improving learning efficiency; thirdly, cultivating innovation consciousness and creative thinking.
