Abstract
This study incorporates the factors influencing the use of e-wallet as a cashless payment method among youth in Seremban. Data from 385 youth who are aware of e-Wallet as a payment method were collected using simple random sampling. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) results indicated that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, privacy and security, and social influence affect the intention to use e-Wallet among youth. Moreover, social influence is found to be the most influential factor in the use of e-Wallets. This study contributes to academic research by adding to the literature on mobile phone payment applications. The study’s findings can help developers of cashless payment methods increase youth intention to use e-Wallet as a primary transaction method and enhance its features to promote its usefulness.
