Abstract
The education system has received significant attention from stakeholders in discussions regarding effective learning methods. The rapid advancement of technology, the evolution of educational philosophy, and the changing times necessitate more dynamic teaching approaches in universities. Traditional teaching is frequently condemned as being out of line with current advances and changes. However, it continues to be widely recognised. These platforms serve as a successful medium for face-to-face communication between lecturers and students. The digital teaching method, often known as non-face-to-face teaching, complemented traditional methods. It is regarded as an enhancement to the current system. The introduction of blended learning (BL) serves as an innovative approach to higher education that combines traditional and digital teaching methods. It offers greater adaptability and aligns with a lifelong learning approach. Apparently, space management courses are well-known for their strong emphasis on merging theory and practice. Besides BL, this study also promotes project-based learning (PBL) as a part of teaching space management courses. PBL will allow students to relate knowledge with the actual case study or projects. Therefore, both approaches can create a more user-friendly learning environment while still allowing for on-site simulation activities that enhance understanding of the space capacity index in space management courses. This article pointed to the teaching and learning innovation that will improve quality in higher education and cultivate human capital, which will in turn foster future progress.
