Kesan pelaksanaan pembelajaran berasaskan projek (PBL) dalam pendidikan matematik: Tinjauan literatur bersistematik (SLR)

Abstract
  • Pembelajaran berasaskan projek atau “Project Based Learning” (PBL) menggalakkan murid untuk berfikir secara kritis, kreatif, bersistematik dan logik. Terdapat dua isu utama yang wujud adalah tentang tahap pencapaian Matematik murid yang rendah melalui pentaksiran antarabangsa TIMSS dan PISA serta kekurangan minat murid dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) menerusi kaedah konvensional. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesan pelaksanaan kaedah PBL yang paling kerap dikaji oleh pengkaji-pengkaji melalui tinjauan sistematik kajian-kajian lepas dan mendirikan kerangka konseptual berdasarkan analisis yang dilaksanakan. Scopus, WOS dan Google Scholar telah digunakan dalam penyaringan artikel kajian lepas. Proses SLR merangkumi strategi pencarian, kriteria pemilihan, proses pemilihan, pengumpulan dan analisis data bagi artikel yang diperoleh. Sebanyak 28 buah artikel diperoleh melalui kriteria yang telah ditetapkan seperti tahun penerbitan, jenis bahasa, dan bidang kajian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa PBL dapat meningkatkan pencapaian akademik, penglibatan dalam pembelajaran, kefahaman dan semangat inkuiri murid. Kerangka konseptual dibangunkan berdasarkan kesan pelaksanaan PBL yang kerap ditegaskan dalam kajian lepas. Kesimpulannya, guru harus bersikap terbuka untuk menerima PBL sebagai perubahan positif dalam proses PdP. Selain itu, pihak Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) boleh menyelitkan pembelajaran menerusi aktiviti dalam kurikulum sekolah. Kajian ini berharap akan membantu pengkaji-pengkaji untuk mendapat tahu tentang hala tuju kajian, metodologi, latar belakang kajian dan dapatan kajian yang akan membantu dalam kajian-kajian masa depan.
