Abstract
  • ABSTRAK Kanser payudara kini adalah kanser yang paling biasa di kalangan wanita di seluruh dunia. Dikatakan bahawa tidak ada kaedah yang telah terbukti untuk mencegah kanser. Walau bagaimanapun, kajian telah menunjukkan bahawa terdapat beberapa faktor-faktor gaya hidup wanita yang telah secara saintifik terbukti meningkatkan risiko kanser payudara. Kajian literatur dari disiplin epidemiologi, perubatan, dan psikososial dilakukan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor gaya hidup wanita yang cenderung untuk meningkatkan risiko kanser payudara. Analisis kepada kajian literatur ditumpukan kepada hubungan antara faktor-faktor risiko kanser payudara dan gaya hidup wanita dalam aspek-aspek seperti diet dan aktiviti fizikal. Hasil analisis kajian literatur ini menunjukkan bahawa beberapa faktor-faktor gaya hidup wanita telah kerap dianggap sebagai faktor risiko untuk kanser payudara. Antara faktor-faktor risiko kanser payudara yang diperakui berdasarkan pelbagai penyelidikan meluas berkaitan kanser payudara adalah usia lewat pada kelahiran anak pertama atau tidak pernah melahirkan (nulliparity), tidak pernah menyusukan atau tempoh penyusuan yang singkat, pemakanan dan diet, serta stres psikologikal.
