This article reviews the definition of heritage listing and it important, selected charter for heritage protection, others countries guideline of listing and process of listing. The literature review, in particular, discusses National Heritage listing of United Kingdom, Australia, United States of America and UNESCO. The article also discusses the use and interpretation for criteria to list National Heritage in these 3 countries and one international agency to understand common patterns that cut across these criterions.
