Abstract
  • Agricultural organisations require effective management systems to enhance productivity, transparency, and market accessibility. At present, PELADANG relies on manual processes for crop management, sales, and communication, which leads to inefficiencies such as limited crop data visibility, inconsistent invoicing, and reliance on informal communication channels. Therefore, this study aims to design a web-based Smart Agriculture Crop Management System that automate crop registration, sales transactions, invoicing, and payment tracking. The system is developed using an adapted Waterfall Model as the methodology and guided by User-Centred Design (UCD) principles to ensure usability for staff and wholesalers with varying technical backgrounds. The system will be developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database, configured with Laragon for seamless integration and testing. The system improves operational efficiency by reducing manual tasks, streamlining communication, and generating reports that help staff identify purchasing trends. This contributes to better decision-making and supports digital transformation in agricultural management. Future enhancements may include the complete development of web-based system and the mobile version, with the payment gateway integration, and advanced analytics to strengthen usability and sustainability further.
