Knowledge and Its Impact in Increasing Social Acceptance on LGB Issues
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between level of knowledge and level of acceptance towards LGB personnel among tertiary education students who reside in Kuala Lumpur state. Subject of this study was 20 tertiary students who are from different religion, sex and races who aged between 18 to 28 and is heterosexual. SPSS were used to analyzed data collected using the Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Knowledge and Attitude Scale for Heterosexuals (LGB-KASH) questionnaire. The study found out that there is significant relationship between knowledge and acceptance level. Limitation of the study are small subject size and recommendation will be to increase subject size and to study on different subject age.
