Abstract
This study focuses on the theoretical research of the museum display system in China, systematically analysing the current display forms in Chinese museums and their impact on visitor experiences. With the rapid growth of the number of museums, the number of visitors, and the scale of exhibitions, museum display systems have begun to emphasise visitor participation and experience, and a variety of display technologies have been applied to museum display systems, greatly enhancing the visitor experience. However, the existing academic materials on the display systems provided by Chinese museums for visitors are rather scattered, lacking integrated and systematic explanations, and theoretical discussions on how the display systems affect the visitor experience are still insufficient. This study aims to construct an applied development theory of museum display systems and further enrich the relevant research in the indoor display industry.
