Abstract
  • A cross-sectional survey was carried out to assess the level of knowledge about polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), sources of information, and health-related practices among 102 women aged 18 to 25 years in Selangor, Malaysia. The findings indicate that most participants had a moderate level of knowledge, while more than half demonstrated poor health-related practices. Overall, the study concludes that although young women possessed moderate knowledge of PCOS, they lacked sufficient understanding and preparedness to manage the condition, reflecting inadequate awareness.
