Abstract
  • Incorporation of technology has become a crucial element in influencing teaching and learning in an education system that is continually developing. Their impact on key elements of teacher turnover is complex and multidimensional. This study explores the technological tools usage and impacts of integrating digital tools and materials in teaching and learning. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative survey and qualitative interview of teacher experiences. 50 randomly selected teachers participated with teaching background regardless of gender, race, teaching experience as well as highest teaching experience. Results indicate that teachers preferred to use Quizizz (69.2%) compared to Kahoot (25%). Teachers also preferred to get sources from YouTube as the main source for learning (61.5%) despite referring from school training (21.2%) and outside courses (17.3%). Regarding the key to successful technology integration is teacher training, 40.4% of respondents identified as most important, 59.6% respondents viewed professional development by teachers as positive, 78.8% viewed technology as generally seen as helpful and 98.1% viewed it has a significant positive impact on academic performance. Interview results show that technology-enhanced learning environments significantly improve student engagement and performance, particularly in collaborative and interactive settings. The findings suggest that strategic implementation of technology in the curriculum can enhance educational quality and better prepare students for the demands of the digital age.
