This study aims to find a relationship between benefits and income level towards e-payment among Generation Z in Malaysia. This study has developed questionnaires and given to 384 respondents from four underdeveloped states in Malaysia. The data was analysed using the Social Science Statistical Package (SPSS) version 26.0. Three variables have been tested; benefits as the independent variable, income level as the moderator variable and e-payment as the dependent variable. The results of this study show that benefits had a positive relationship with the acceptance of e-payment among Generation Z in underdeveloped states in Malaysia. Income level was found to moderate the relationship between benefits and e-payment. Hence this study indicates benefits and income level are important factors to the acceptance of e-payment among Generation Z in Malaysia. The results of this study indicate two critical elements for e-payment system adoption and e-commerce system standardization. This study enhanced the reader's comprehension of different facets of e-payment, particularly the benefits to customers and their income levels, thereby facilitating informed decisions regarding the acceptance of the system. This study is only tested on Generation Z in the underdeveloped states. Therefore, a more diverse coverage of states needs to be done in future. This study also needs to explore other payment channels challenging under e-payment and rigorous tests need to be done in order to get more generalisation.
